- Art is something I have always been interested in and was my favourite subject at school, but on leaving never had the time to pursue this any further. However on retiring I joined the painting class and became a member of the local water colour society where at the annual exhibition I have sold some of my paintings, all in water colour. However I have since digressed into acrylics which I find in many ways more exciting, but in the end it all depends on the subject you want to paint. Once you start to paint you do look at things in a different light and notice things probably you would never be interested before.
